August Update: Finals, Awards & What's Coming Up
Hi Westside Panther Families,
As we head into the home stretch of the 2026 season, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped make it another great year for Westside Panthers.
From players and coaches to volunteers, families, sponsors and supporters, the Club simply wouldn't be what it is without your time, effort and support.

Depending on the final results, we could have four Westside teams representing the club in the Finals Series:

Awards Nominations Are Now Open
It's time to recognise the people who have made a difference throughout the 2026 season.
Nominations are now open for our Westside Panthers Awards.

Nominations close Sunday, 6 September 2026.
The information you provide is the primary information used when assessing nominations. Our Committee doesn't personally see everything that happens across the Club, so please take the time to tell us why your nominee deserves recognition.
When nominating, please include:
Specific examples and achievements.
How they have contributed to their team, club or wider Westside community.
Qualities such as leadership, sportsmanship, commitment, encouragement and positive attitude.
The number of nominations does not determine the winner. Each nomination is assessed on its own merits based on the information provided.
To ensure a fair process, Committee members with a conflict of interest will not participate in discussion or voting for that award.
Life Membership Nominations
Life Membership is the highest honour awarded by Westside Panthers, recognising individuals whose contribution, commitment and service have gone well beyond expectations and helped shape our club.
If you know someone who you believe deserves to be considered for Life Membership, we'd encourage you to put forward a nomination.

Training Equipment Survey
We’re looking at replacing our ageing portable goals and improving the goal setup at John McGrath Fields.
We’d appreciate it if players, parents, coaches and volunteers could take a c minutes to complete this short survey and help us understand how the current setup affects training and the player experience.
